Brokerage Assistant – Insurance
We are seeking a Brokerage Assistant for Growing Downtown Chicago, Illinois Insurance client.
This person will serve as main point-of-contact handling inbound calls from prospective Commercial Insurance clients (No cold calling or prospecting) and assisting callers with obtaining proper Commercial Insurance Coverages.
Potential for up to $6K Quarterly Bonus with up to $25K Annual Target.
DUTIES OF BROKERAGE ASSISTANT
– INSURANCE:
Manage Consultative Sales and Service to new insureds through the binding process Manage requests for additional documentation necessary for processing applications, endorsements, certificates of insurance, or cancellations Serve as main point-of-contact for customers and assigned agencies/brokers in developing and maintaining effective business relationships Provide customers with coverage and risk management advice
HYBRID WORK-AT-HOME POSITION
DIRECT HIRE POSITION WITH QUARTERLY BONUS OF UP TO $6K, TARGET OF $25K ANNUALLY
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS OF BROKERAGE ASSISTANT
– INSURANCE:
2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Customer Service and Sales Experience Prior Experience in Insurance Underwriting, Agency/Broker, Marketing or Risk Management type activities Prior Experience with Standard Underwriting Lines or Excess Lines Current Property & Casualty Insurance Producer’s License Ideal, but not required Strong computer skills and knowledge of automated systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and grow agent & customer relationships
