Extrusion Blow Molding Lead Set Up Technician

Responsible for the proper set-up, operation, production, training and assignments of a work shift in the Blow Molding Extrusion Department.

Job Requirements:

· Performs machine change-overs including color changes, and mold/tooling changes.

· Diagnoses problems, makes adjustments and minor repair, required to keep line and equipment operating.

· Controls correctness and quality of all materials entering lines culminating in quality finished product.

· Trains, assigns and directs production personnel.

· Performs any of line operations required to maintain flow of production.

· Trains assistant Lead Set-Up person in all of his/her duties.

· Keeps immediate Group Leader/Supervisor properly informed.

· Other duties and responsibilities not mentioned above will come from immediate Group Leader/Supervisor.

· Performs work order reporting and completions in JD Edwards.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good communication skills that include ability to read, write, and speak English.

· Equivalent of a High School diploma.

· Training in Blow Molding Technology.

· Supervisory skills and training.

· Four to five years progressive experience in Blow Molding.

· One to three years experience directing a shift or small department.
