Title Mobile Application Developer Location Chicago, IL Duration 6+ Months Basic Qualifications This position participates in an agile development process to implement new production-ready software or new features to existing software. Location WFH during COVID. Chicago local candidates preferred. Education B. S. or M.S. in Computer Science Required Experience Proven experience as a Mobile developer. Must have minimum 10+yrs Software Development with 6+ years of experience in Android, Kotlin. Experience with the Android SDK. Solid background in MVC, MVVM architecture, and design patterns Different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Experience in the full mobile application design, development, and deployment lifecycle Experience with JSON and REST APIs Experience working with product management and UIUX designers Experience using version control tool such as GIT Experience with CICD Experience working with customers, vendors, and partners Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills. Highly desired experiences Experience in responsive web application, PWA Experience with JavaScript, html, CSS, AngularJS Preferred experiences Experience in implementing AWS Experience with SQL Video Streams via WebRTC. Responsibilities Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code. Gathering and evaluating user feedback. Working as a part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products. Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents. Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance. Defining project scope specifications, estimating resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet customer requirements and developing schedules, test plans and documentation. Ensuring specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams and monitoring timelines progress. Identifying potential issues between systems and client specifications and proposing new solutions. Providing subject matter expertise and direction, guidance, and support on complex engagements
