RL Canning: Process Manager
Position SummaryResponsible for planning and developing process guidelines, targets, project plans and standards used for monitoring and measuring process improvements.
Incorporates Project Management and Six Sigma methodologies into process improvement operations in order to achieve business objectives.
This role will also manage all process documentation and support all process enhancements.Essential DutiesDefines resource requirements and assembles process strategy and documentation.Ensures project quality, schedule, budgets, and deliverables meet agreed-upon expectations.Identifies, assesses, and manages risks, issues, and change control procedures.Evaluates current business practices and find a way to improve productivity, reduce costs, and make the best use of the business’s resources.Implements Lean and/or Six Sigma methods to design and implement process efficiencies.Monitors the effectiveness of enterprise processes and makes recommendations for improvement.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Experience5+ years’ process improvement or other relevant experience.Demonstrated experience utilizing Six Sigma methods (DMAIC, DMADV, etc.) to design and improve business processes and results.Must be able to organize complex activities, competing priorities, and ambiguous situations; effectively mobilize resources and develop plans for self and others to ensure that deliverables and business expectations are met.Uses information and insights to develop and sustain organizational support for initiatives and alignment to stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to develop communication methods and deliver oral and written communications that have clarity and impact for stakeholders, team members, and customers.Strong knowledge of clinical informatics applications preferred.
Must have strong experience and be adaptable to various productivity, project, and collaboration tools, e.G.
Microsoft Project, Visio, Office, and SharePoint.Ability to travel.EducationBachelor’s degree required.Lean Six Sigma Certification certification required.
